01 · Who We Are
Tech & E-Commerce LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates techandecommerce.com and provides AI-augmented technical program management, intelligent workflow development, full-stack AI product engineering, and e-commerce platform engineering. We act as the "data controller" (or equivalent) for information collected through this website and our direct engagements.
02 · Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly (name, work email, company, phone if supplied, inquiry content, and attachments), information collected automatically (IP address, browser and device type, referrer URL, pages viewed, time on page, interaction events), and information from trusted third parties (B2B enrichment providers, authentication providers like Google/LinkedIn if you connect them). Categories are grouped by source and purpose.
03 · How We Use Your Information
We use your information to respond to inquiries, deliver contracted services, send relevant operational communications, improve our platform, ensure security and prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and (where permitted) provide marketing communications you can opt out of at any time.
04 · Legal Basis for Processing
Where a legal basis is required by applicable law, we rely on: (a) your consent, (b) contract performance when you engage our services, (c) legitimate interests (business operations, security, product improvement), and (d) compliance with legal obligations. Where consent is the basis, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
05 · Sharing & Third Parties
We share data only with: (i) subprocessors providing hosting, analytics, email delivery, AI inference, and similar operational services, bound by written data-protection terms; (ii) professional advisors (legal, accounting); and (iii) authorities when required by law. A current list of subprocessors is available on request via the Engage page (/engage). We do not sell or rent personal information.
06 · Cookies & Tracking
We use a small number of essential cookies (required for the site to function) and, with your consent, optional analytics cookies. Manage your preferences via the cookie banner shown on your first visit or re-open it from the footer. Do Not Track signals are not yet a technical standard we honor automatically, but you can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time.
07 · Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, and — where consent is the basis — withdrawal of consent. Region-specific rights are described in the regional notice below. To exercise any right, submit a request via the Engage page (/engage) or the chat on any page. Under CCPA/CPRA, California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, limit use of sensitive personal information, and opt-out of sale/sharing. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights under their respective statutes.
08 · International Data Transfers
Because we operate globally, your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. When we transfer personal data across borders, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (where applicable), or equivalent safeguards recognized by your jurisdiction.
09 · Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Engagement records are retained for the term of the relationship plus seven years (or the period required by applicable law, whichever is longer). Anonymized or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytics.
10 · Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256-GCM), principle-of-least-privilege access controls, multi-factor authentication for employees, and documented incident-response procedures. See our Security page for the full program.
11 · Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us via /engage and we will delete it.
12 · Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices, new legal requirements, or new features. Material changes will be announced on the site and, where required, through direct notice. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
13 · Contact & Complaints
For privacy questions, access requests, or complaints, reach us via the Engage page (/engage) or the chat on any page. We respond within the timeframe required by your regional law (typically 30 days; up to 45 days where permitted). If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — see the regional notice below for the relevant authority in your jurisdiction. US residents may contact their state attorney general or equivalent agency for privacy complaints.
